The BVEG represents the interests of German natural gas and crude oil producers, operators of underground storage facilities, service providers working in this industry and interests in the economic utilisation of geoenergy. The BVEG works for the industries it represents in a broadly differentiated field, ranging from technology (development of a separate set of regulations) to economic, environmental and energy policy through to social policy.
